Universe Racing
heads to Daytona with Norm Hutton Racing“What a great way to
start off the 2016 racing season”, exclaimed Hazleton, PA native
Steve Fox as he entered through the gates at Daytona International
Raceway a few weeks ago for the ARCA Racing Series test. Fox, who has
competed in the past at several tracks in the series, has never
raced at Daytona. That all changed when his usual team, Universe
Racing, teamed up with Norm Hutton Racing to give Fox the
opportunity. “I’m so
grateful for Tony Aquilino to give me the opportunity that he did in
ARCA with Universe Racing. With the addition of Norm Hutton Racing,
the opportunities may be endless with this partnership”. Fox has high
hopes of making the show in his #3 Ford Fusion and if things go as
planned, he’ll be a contender for the win at Daytona in February.
Steve Fox Earns
Career Best Finish
Berwick, PA (8/4/2015)- ARCA Racing Series start #14 will be one to
remember for Steve Fox of Hawley, PA. Despite having good cars over
the last few seasons, Fox admitted that he was lacking the power to
be competitive enough for a good finish on the 2.5 mile tri oval at
Pocono International Raceway. That all changed
Saturday, as Fox ran in the top ten for most of the day and
ended up with a career best 12th place finish.
“My guys never gave up on me or this racecar, we have the
best crew in the garage". said Fox after exiting the #3 Norm Hutton
Racing Dodge Saturday afternoon. "They kept
making it better and had a great pit stop, that Penske power under
the hood is amazing "
“Although it’s a career best, I felt like we definitely were
a top ten car all day but we fell off just a little bit at the end.
Regardless, I’ll take it!”
"The car is in one piece and I can’t wait until Daytona
early next year”, he hinted about making his first start at the
famed 2.5 mile super speedway.
Fox had also planned to make his first NASCAR Camping World
Truck Series start in a Norm Benning entry, but the deal fell
through at the last minute.
Pulling Double Duty, Steve Fox Aiming Toward First NASCAR StartBerwick,
PA (7/28/2015)- Over the past
several seasons Steve Fox of Hawley, PA has made 13
starts in the ARCA Racing Series presented my Menards.
Most of those events came at his home track, Pocono
International Raceway, and where he feels most at home -
the road course at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Steve
can't wait to get back in the #3 Norm Hutton Racing
Dodge, which is owned my Emmy Award winning actor, Tony
Aquilino. However, this coming weekend at Pocono, along
with hopes of having a great ARCA run, Fox is on the
roster to qualify a Norm Benning owned NASCAR Camping
World Truck. If all goes well in qualifying, it’ll mark
his very first NASCAR start.
“It’s been a long time coming with the NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series deal and I can’t say enough about Norm Benning for giving me
such an opportunity. NASCAR approved me in 2011 and it took until
now to make this happen. It's every short track racers dream to
compete in NASCAR- I can't wait! ”
After having a top twenty run in the June ACRA event at Pocono, Fox
is destined to have a terrific outing.
“We’ve had great cars in the past and some good runs, but we have
always been bitten by something, always had a piece of the puzzle
missing. I have a good feeling that will change for this race,
since we have additional support and some really strong Penske
horsepower thanks to Norm Hutton Racing.”
“Norm and his group really stepped up to take care of us and in turn
make our whole program more competitive. I’m thrilled to drive this
#3 for Tony and fly the Norm Hutton Racing banner.”

Mechanical Problems Result in 17th Place Finish for Fox at PoconoSteve Fox and his crew
had high hopes entering the first of two 2015 ARCA
Racing Series events this year at Pocono Internal
Raceway in Long Pond, PA. Fox set
the 20th fastest qualifying time and unfortunately,
suffered mid race with mechanical woes. However, Fox and
his Universe Race team didn't give up, as he nursed the
#3 NormHuttonRacing,com Dodge Intrepid to a 17th place
finish. "This one's
behind us and the car's in one piece", noted Fox
following the event. "I just can't
wait to get these issues behind us and get back on the
track for the next one. I'd like to thank everyone that
has helped us out in making these ARCA events even
possible for me to compete in." Good

Motorsports 2014
Berwick, PA (1/18/2014)- As they do every year, A&N’s
Motorsports Heaven had a booth set up with plenty of vintage
cars on display and even some for sale at the
Pioneer Pole Building’s
Motorsports 2014 Racecar & Trade Show Fueled by Sunoco and
Distributed by Insinger Performance in early January. The
three day show was held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo
Center in Oaks, PA and it wasn’t only a success for A&N’s,
but also for ARCA Racing Series driver Steve Fox, who had
his car on display at the A&N booth. He also signed
autographs for show goers over the three-day period.
“I believe that it was a very successful show for a lot of people”,
noted Fox, who is the driver of the #3 A&N’s Motorsports
Heaven in the ARCA Racing Series, presented by Menards.
“I want to
thank Norm Hutton for having me there at his booth this
year and also for coming back on board with us this
season, especially after the tough luck that we had last
year”.
Fox has been
busy preparing for the 2014 racing season and plans on
making both ARCA events at Pocono this season, plus
others.
“We have our
goals set to compete at Pocono and elsewhere, but for
now we’ll focus on Pocono and see where the cards fall
from there. It would be really cool to get behind the
wheel of a truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series at one of the short tracks during some point this
season too”.
